Welcome to FootStats - the Premier Football Statistics and Analysis site

Footstats provides comprehensive analysis of statistics and data from the English Football Leagues (including Premiership and Championship) with results and tables since 2000. The site is partioned into five analysis areas of particular interest. League Tables covers positions of teams based on different criteria, our normal League tables based upon points and goal difference but also events during a match such as shots, goals, corners, fouls and cards (both the yellow and red variety). The Form Guide looks at current form over a number of games, whilst The Game gives statistics on individual games. Teams gives a thorough analysis of your favourite team, whilst Referees takes a look at the cards dished out by our man in black.

Footstats contains all Premiership, Championship and League One and Two data back to Season 2000/2001 courtesy of football-data.co.uk. The site is updated on a weekly basis during the season.

Our sister site, Eurostats provides quick comprehensive analysis of statistics and data from the European Leagues (including Scottish, Italian Serie A, Spanish La Liga and German Bundisliga) with results and tables since 2007.

For charts and statistics, Footcharts provides detailed analysis of all data on the English Football Leagues. There's also a prediction model which hopefully gives you the edge when you are having a punt.

Don't know the way to the Ground ? For Google directions to any ground in the four leagues make use of our Getting There section.

From time to time particular items of analysis will be posted in the news section.

Football fun is provided by our quick look at some of the howlers over the years, whilst up to date news courtesy of BBC, keeps everyone on their toes.

We would love to hear from you regarding the site. Feel free to contact us with your thoughts, ideas or analyses that you would find useful.

Above all, enjoy the site and enjoy your football !
