A Quick Look at the Top Premiere League Footballers from Thailand

Thailand has been known for producing some of the most well-known sports personalities in the world today. This same observation is certainly true when referring to top-tier footballers. Still, remaining up to date with today's talent can be tricky at times. This is why many enthusiasts keenly follow the latest sports betting news in Thailand in order to better understand what to expect from the younger generation of players. Let us take a look at some names to watch out for during the 2021-2022 season.

Teerasil Dangda

Mr. Dangda is currently the captain of the Thailand National Football team. While he was slated to play for Manchester City at one point, issues with work permits curtailed this opportunity. He nonetheless claimed that he learned a great deal from the experience and this is clearly exhibited in his attitude on the pitch. An aggressive playing style along with the ability to assist other teammates when the going gets tough have continued to define Mr. Dangda.

Kawin Thamsatchanan

Kawin Thamsatchanan is a goalkeeper who plays for OH Leuven (Belgium) and the Thailand national team. He has been active since 2006 and considering that he was only born in 1990, most experts feel that a long and distinguished career awaits. To cement this reputation, Kawin Thamsatchanan was awarded the title of "Man of the Match" during the AFC Champion's League semi-finals in 2016.

Datsakorn Thonglao

Often referred to simply as "Go" by fans and players alike, the aggressive midfielder leaves nothing to chance while on the pitch. Datsakorn Thonglao currently plays for the national football team of Thailand and he has participated in two FIFA World Cup qualification competitions. Although criticised for his violent behaviour in the past, it seems that he has now tempered this attitude; enabling him to become an extremely valuable asset. One of his primary strengths involves his deadly accurate corner kicks.

Theerathon Bunmathan

Theerathon Bunmathan plays for the national team of Thailand as well as for the Yokohama F. Marinos. He has been an active footballer since 2009 and during the early stages of his career, he was considered to be one of the most reliable players for Buriram United. As a testament to his prowess on the pitch, he was paid a record-breaking 35 million baht when he was transferred to Muangthong United F.C. in 2016. This status has also enabled him to compete with other international personalities including Andres Iniesta and Lucas Podolski.

These are only a handful of the many up-and-coming Thai players who are set to make their mark within this highly competitive sport. Interestingly enough, it should also be noted that the national team of Thailand is enjoying a more recognised presence upon the world stage. This is why it is perfectly reasonable to assume that such talent will not go unnoticed throughout the international community. Whether you are an avid sports betting enthusiast or you simply wish to keep up to date with youthful talent, these names should never be overlooked.
